Senior engineering, quiet by design.
CaeliCode hires senior platform, software, and security engineers, US-only, remote-first. We hire one or two people a quarter, fewer than we could, more than we strictly need. The interview is paid, on real code, on a real timeline.
Roles we're hiring for, this quarter.
All positions are remote-first within US time zones, full-time, with the benefits documented on the culture page.
Five steps. No whiteboards.
From application to offer, two to three weeks. Every step is described before you start it. We pay for the engineering work step at standard contractor rates.
Application
Resume, GitHub, and a paragraph on the last system you built that made you proud. We read every one.
Engineering chat, 60 min
Pair with a senior engineer on a real production trace. We're looking for how you think, not what you've memorized.
Take-home, paid, ~6h
A self-contained piece of work on our public toolkit. Submit a PR. We review it the way we'd review a teammate's.
Team day, 4 hrs
Three short conversations: design review, security walk-through, and a peer Q&A. Lunch on us, calendar permitting.
Offer
Written within 48 hours of the team day. Compensation is documented up front; we don't negotiate against ourselves.
Send a resume anyway.
We keep a short list of senior engineers we'd hire if a role opened. If your work overlaps with what we do, the list is a fine place to be.
