Legal Effective April 14, 2026

Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of caelicode.com. Engagement contracts are separate; this page does not bind a paid project.

Use of the site

You may read, link to, and reference this site freely. You may not scrape it for commercial-AI training without permission, see /robots.txt for the noai directive. You may not abuse the contact forms, the API endpoints behind the public toolkit, or the newsletter list. Common-sense rules apply.

Engagements

Information on this site is illustrative. The actual terms of any engagement are defined in a Master Services Agreement and one or more Statements of Work, signed by both parties. Until those documents are signed, neither side is bound to anything beyond the public commitments on this site (response times, hiring rubric, salary ranges).

Intellectual property

The CaeliCode name, logo, and the prose on this site are © CaeliCode Inc. The platform tooling we publish is licensed individually under the licenses in each repository (MIT or Apache-2.0). Code we write inside an engagement is owned by the client unless the SOW says otherwise.

Open source

Our public toolkit lives at github.com/caelicode. Issues and pull requests are welcome under the contributor license described in each repo. We respond to PRs within seven days; security disclosures get a same-day reply at security@caelicode.com.

Warranty

This website is provided "as is", no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. The platform tooling is provided under its OSS license, which means no warranty there either. Engagement work carries the warranty defined in the SOW.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CaeliCode is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Where a damages cap is required, it is the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, which, for site visitors, is zero.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of the page tells you when. Material changes will be announced in the engineering newsletter and in a banner on the homepage for at least 14 days.
