About the Role
As a Full-Stack Developer at CaeliCode, you'll build the web applications and internal platforms that power our clients' operations and our own open-source toolkit. From React frontends to Node.js backends, you'll work across the entire stack to deliver polished, performant products.
This role is ideal for developers who want breadth. You'll touch frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and deployment. We value clean code, thoughtful architecture, and a willingness to learn. If you're early in your career but hungry to grow fast in a small, high-output team, this is a great fit.
What You'll Do
- Build responsive, accessible web applications using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
- Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Node.js, Express, or Fastify
- Design and implement database schemas (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Write clean, well-tested code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Contribute to our open-source platform tools and internal dashboards
- Collaborate with cloud and DevOps engineers to deploy and scale applications
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
- Ship features end-to-end, from design collaboration to production deployment
What We're Looking For
- 1-5 years of experience in full-stack web development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred)
- Backend experience with Node.js and RESTful API design
- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and basic query optimization
- Understanding of Git workflows and collaborative development practices
- An eye for UI/UX. You care about how things look and feel, not just how they work
- Eagerness to learn cloud and infrastructure concepts alongside your development work
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js, Remix, or similar full-stack React frameworks
- Familiarity with GraphQL and API design best practices
- Knowledge of Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress)
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Basic cloud experience (deploying to AWS, Vercel, or similar)
